There is a slight lean on this TV aerial. It needs refixing to ensure it does not collapse onto the roof causing damage.

The post it is fixed to needs to be flexible so it moves slightly in the wind. I once saw an aerial that had been fixed to a rigid scaffolding pole. High winds brought the pole  down onto the roof  of a bungalow resulting in an insurance claim and the need for retiling one third of the rear roof slope.
