Sometimes a client has to simply accept that despite his or her best endeavours a surveyor cannot always see as much as they would like to in order to formulate a considered opinion.

Appropriate caveats to this effect will be included in the report. This both protects the surveyor and alerts the client to the fact there are unseen areas which may need further investigation.

The “small print” is there for a good reason.
