Evidence of repointed cracking to this Victorian house wall.

It is the surveyors role to assess whether this is old or recent and therefore of no concern or a real concern.

In this instance there is no evidence of the cracking having re-opened since it was repointed, and there is no sign of related movement showing internally. The conclusion is the movement occurred some time ago . In the context of an older house such as this it should be noted so the client is aware although it is of no real concern to the stability of the property.
