Lovely stone or pebble detailing known, I believe, as “galleting” interspersed between the “knapped” flint and Ironstone wall structure of this period property in Norfolk. Added to strengthen the mortar and for decorative purposes I am told. What a painstaking process. Lovely to look at though.
