Always take the time to inspect not just your new home but the gardens and boundaries as well.
This dry stone wall is, unusually, much older than the fairly modern house. I think it previously marked a field boundary.
It has developed a most noticeable lean over the years and at some point sooner rather than later it will have to be rebuilt (an expensive exercise).
