A “chocolate box” timber framed and thatched cottage in Cropston near Bradgate Park about five miles from Leicester.
The thatched roof incorporates my favourite design of “eyebrows” over the first floor windows. The timber frame includes what, very unusually, appear to be staircase balusters at ground floor level.
