Some features are not so useful these days.In the same bungalow that has the lovely living room ceiling are several glazed doors.
Original to 1963 the glazing will not be laminated/toughened as it would be nowadays. If caught by the wind a slamming door such as this would shatter. Or if you tripped and fell into it think of the damage it would do to you!
The sensible advice today will be to replace the doors completely or at least renew the glazing. Look for the BS “Kitemark” sticker in a corner of the glass to ensure it meets current regulations.
